What is Mesotherapy?
Mesotherapy involves applying a series of chemical injections with short, thin needles that target the middle and superficial layer of the skin. Various substances such as plant extracts, vitamins, amino acids, minerals, hyaluronic acid, hormones, enzymes and prescription drugs can be used in mesotherapy applications.
It can be applied for purposes such as treating hair loss, minimizing fine lines on the face, reducing blemishes, tightening pores, tightening loose skin, reducing cellulite and especially jowl.
How Is Mesotherapy Done?
Mesotherapy is a treatment that does not require anesthesia. Your doctor first cleans the area to be treated, then makes a series of injections. Each injection places one drop of solution into the desired area at a depth of 1 to 10 millimeters.
