The distance between the base of the nose and the upper lip line is compatible with the face, giving the lips an aesthetic appearance. If this distance is long, filling applications may cause an artificial appearance. For this reason, this area is evaluated with the necessary aesthetic parameters and in suitable patients, it is shortened and lip lift is performed. It is a procedure performed under local anesthesia and takes approximately half an hour.
Since the lips are anesthetized before the procedure, no pain is felt.
Since lips are relatively sensitive organs, it is normal to experience swelling and bruising as a result of the procedures. It is recommended to rest at home for a few days after the procedure.
